Formed in 1974, Ardor Engineering traded as precision sub-contract machinists, quickly establishing a reputation for fine craftsmanship and reliability, producing precision-machined components for several local companies.

In 1991 Ardor Engineering became a Ltd company and November 2004 saw the now MD Michael Kilbride take over the helm following a management buyout.

As part of our ongoing commitment to quality, we are proud to announce our registration to the new ISO9001:2008 standard (Copy of cert ). We believe this demonstrates to customers old and new that we regard quality as the foundation that our reputation is built upon.

We have embarked on a major new investment plan to radically improve our company profile and to maximise efficiency, enabling us to maintain our position as a leader in the supply of precision machined components to the valve, pump and petro-chemical industries. To achieve this we have set the following key targets:

• Design and build a state of the art manufacturing facility.

• Incorporate a temperature controlled inspection department.
• Evaluate and install a new manufacturing management system.
• Invest in the capability to manufacture 'in-house', weld clad components.
